I am back for Global! Apologises for posting this late. I was trying to comfirm the details which i am going to share with you.

Back to the book.

I had a good laugh at it. The pictures were quite real. But the facts… Somewhat needs a better way to improve. Perhaps it is trying to send a ethical message in a wrong way. Which results in these misconceptions.

The “book” wanted everyone to be a vegetarian. Definitely it have to provide reasons as to why it is necessary / benefit Earth by going vegetarian. Vegetarian would means that one does not feed on poultry, insteads we get our nurtrients from vegetables and other alternatives.

The first reason the book gives is that, when there is no livestock (flock of chickens, school of fishes, etc) for human to consume. and we use the same piece of land to grow crops, we can feed 5 times more people.

Secondly, 5 billioon animal lifes would be spared by human with the cut down of consumption of animals.

Thirdly, 75% of the new diseases come from animals. The examples that they gave were, H1N1, bird flu and mad cow diseases.

Last but not least, It state that everyone can increase there life expectancy by up to 15 years.

Although there are a total of 4 reasons, I am not satisfied with the way they presented their facts. They act more like convicing people to be vegetarian than to save mother earth.

Whether to feed on animals or not? What is your choice? Fried Chicken Wings or Plain Rice? Your choice.
